On May 15th, SROI-International CEO Jeremy Nicholls and HKI-SIA Chief Executive Terence Yuen conducted the workshop Measuring Impact – Whose View Counts? at the annual conference of the Asia Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN) held in Singapore. Over 40 participants from various Asian countries joined the two-part training workshop.
Session Overview
The sector is increasingly recognising the importance of impact measurement and data collection. However finding the right balance between the expectations of the funders, the resource constraints of the social purpose organisations, and the needs of the actual beneficiaries is a challenge. This session will be hands on, involve group work and be a practical exploration of the issues around measuring impact from the perspectives of different stakeholders and what this means for your organisation.
